Sunrise
After a streak of incredibly bad luck, it's finally done!

The droprate for the mystic clovers used to create the legendary weapons is supposedly 30%, but i ended up with a 21% return on mine, so although i had a fair margin of extra karma the day the Balthazar event was fixed (karma-vendor location for obsidian shards), it just wasn't enough.
In addition to the clovers i already had, I statistically needed 15 crafts of the "x10" (10 globs of ectoplasm, 10 crystals, 10 obsidian shards and 10 mystic coins) mystic clover recipe, I had spare obsidian shards for 17 tries.
I ended up using 33 more shards.. someone has to have a bit of bad luck, so that the rest of you can do well!
That in combination with at first not knowing that karma was needed for the legendaries (i first bought 5/6 pieces of exotic karmagear, as you can see) caused me to need over 1.4 million karma, or 3388 events :)
I farmed this karma mainly in cursed shore, but i did it by alternating pretty much all events except the ones really far south, so it wasn't too grindy - actually quite different and dynamic pve having to keep rough track of 20+ events and their spawntimers, plotting the fastest route etc.
